Poetica for the Living

Kaith Karishma

The first sign of true civilization was the healed femur, because it meant someone helped a fellow human rather than abandoning them. I wonder: what will be the last?

A traveler wanders an apocalyptic Earth, collecting the last words of the people they meet on their journey. But they must come to terms with their own grief as the world ends around them.
