Out-of-work detective Goro decides to help out at his boyfriend Kunihiko's company. Putting his sleuthing skills to good use, Goro throws himself into his work, earning high praise — and a large reward — from Kunihiko's boss. Suddenly flush with cash, he goes on a binge of indulgence and infidelity, almost neglecting his work completely. Worried that Goro is spiralling out of control, Kunihiko seeks advice from his boss, but finds himself drawn into a deep, forbidden relationship... Meanwhile, Goro is asked by one of his lovers to investigate a cheating partner, but the target is the last person he expects: Kunihiko's boss.
